First of all, I want to acknowledge the scarcity of female villains in comics. Sure, they exist, but they're vastly outnumbered, and few of them are very memorable. Madame Masque, Madame Hydra, and the Enchantress are three I can name off the top of my head. Who are some good DC she-villains?

I think my favorite villainness is the White Witch from the Narnia films, played by Tilda Swinton, who nails the archetype.

    Who's your favorite?

1. Moonstone
2. Sphinx (Meryet Karim)
3. Maleficent from the Sleeping Beauty cartoon movie (I've called a co-worker of mine that for years behind her back)
4. Sela from TNG
5. Caprica Six from BSG
6. Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
7. Kai Winn from DS9 (I guess I really love Louise Fletcher)
8. Vivian Alamain from Days of Our Live (don't laugh...she buried a woman alive)
9. Helena Cassadine from General Hospital (husband cheated on her...she slit the mistresses throat in front of the husbands bastard daughter..she's OG)
10. Cersei from Game of Thrones
11. The queen Alien from Aliens \:\)
12. Jane Hudson from Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?
13. Poison Ivy from Batman the Animated Series
14. Tammy Swanson II from Parks and Rec
15. Mags Bennett from Justified
16. Rachel from Orphan Black
17. Demona from Gargoyles
18. Amanda Waller from Justice League Unlimited
19. Diana Christensen from Network (not sure if she's a villain...but she's an evil b* that movie)
20. Annie Wilkes in Misery
