I watched them all, so I guess it was entertaining, but I can't say it was any good. More a product of an unproductive weekend.
I did find some of the characters engaging. The idea to make them so flawed and human was the right stroke, but their arcs were predictable. 5 minutes in I knew where the addict and the no power girl were going to end up.
Loathed the soundtrack. Can't stress that enough. They took good songs, made bad covers of them and then produced extended dance or fight scenes that I hit the skip button through. Not as bad as the butcher job Justice League did on Leonard Cohen...but in that vein...and with dancing Glee style. You can really tell everyone wants to be Guardians of the Galaxy with the soundtrack. The problem is these guys and the folks at WB have bad taste in music.
Then there's the time travel / hit the reset button thing. Ugh. Use it once...okay. Use it and then try to make into the cliffhanger? Nope.
Won't be watching season 2.
P.S. Can't say this enough, but no one is listening because it keeps on happening. The reliance on flashbacks to provide exposition is the laziest form of storytelling there is!
I really liked the soundtrack. Otherwise, agreed.
