The series has effectively ended for me and right now I feel as thought they've managed to kill any future desire to watch it again as a whole...

I will still finish the show, but I can no longer immerse myself in its universe, as it's been broken beyond repair and the showrunners are not even trying to hide that they've grown bored with the project and want to be done with it, tailoring every choice to their own personal taste along the way (and, by extension, the part of fandom they represent).

I guess one could say that, if you are new or shut down reason and just wanna enjoy a fight, it was impressive... or it coulda been had the Lord of Light really been there...

Heck, since nothing matters anymore, why not go for broke? Why not crank up the spectacle to 11 and never look back? But they couldn't even do that right...

Drax the Legend, Captain of the Fist, The Starwalker, The Jade Slayer

In effect the War between the living and dead is finished and that was George's intention of 'A Song of Ice and Fire'

The TV show 'A Game of Thrones' was named after the political game and was only supposed to be a footnote.

Popular opinion favours the politics unfortantly.

But, yeah I could treat the last episode as the finale and the next few episodes as an Epilogue
