Why do they feel the need to have the new generation hero be the son/daughter of a previous character? Why can't Rey just be some orphan who is strong with the Force by virtue of random seed? It's so limiting to say that only Skywalkers, Kenobis or Palpatines can do it. Pretty soon we'll get a prequel where we discover that all three of those families came from the same grandfather or something.
