Previous Post Could be decent, it depends what they do. Teasing young Luke makes me wonder if they can resist the urge to bring him into the action which would seem to contradict A New Hope. Likewise they are teasing the return of Hayden Christiansen as Darth Vader. If he has some big rematch with Obi-Wan won't that take away a bit from their big rematch in A New Hope? You always got the feeling they hadn't met since Obi-Wan put him in the suit. The rematch with Darth Maul would seem more obvious but I don't know if they already covered that on Clone Wars. Not that I think it's reasonable for him to survive having been cut in half. But if we just get Ewan MacGregor in new adventures in the Star Wars universe then it could be really fun.

It was one of the cartoons where Kenobi and Maul had a final showdown on Tatooine.


Hayden is returning, yes. However when Vader will be in combat it will be others in the suit.

The Obi vs Vader fight in EP 4.....it does seem like they hadn't faced each other since Mustafar, but before the fight Vader thought he was sensing Obi's presence but didn't believe it. Tarkin thought he was dead also until they got the alert that the Princess was freed.

That convinced Vader that Kenobi was on board the Death Star.

But why would Vader doubt his senses? Did they really think age had claimed Obi Wan? Or perhaps they do fight at least once before the Death Star and the fight ends with Vader thinking Kenobi is dead.

There is also talk that we will see teenage Leia and there may be a story arc around her. This would perhaps help link to Ep 4 when she was going to Tatooine to find Kenobi.

Keep Luke out of it though. He isn't really supposed to meet Kenobi until Ep 4, lets not tamper with that.
