I liked them better than the prequels. (Which I also liked. Episode 2 drags in parts, and 3 finishes way too dark, but I find viewing any Star Wars with the mind set of a seven year old helps). I think the sequels would have been better if they dropped having the original series cast members have major roles...and then die. Lando and Yoda were used perfectly in my opinion. Short, important, but not critical bits, to celebrate the past, not forcibly drive the future. And...y'know...having Episode 8 and Episode 9 seem to be part of the same trilogy instead of two separate ones. That would have been nice. (I kinda want to see both versions, though.)
