Well Luke is new to teaching so he is bound to stumble.

However the rumors are that Luke will adapt for modern times and learn that attachment is not a bad thing with the right training.

It was the attachment Luke felt toward his father, and what Anakin felt towards Luke that allowed Anakin to break free of the darkside.
