I think it was WWE's Honky Tonk Man many years ago that made me realize that celebrity Twitter feuds should not be seen as actual feuds but rather attention-seeking public displays. They both know that every time they beat each other up in public it generates more clicks.

I will admit if Shatner does something wrong. In this instance he is blameless. It is just because Takei hates his guts. Fair enough but it removes all debate and conversation. It is simply observed.
