I must say it was great, although also a little sad. Let me see if I have this right (I may be leaving out some stuff, please LMK):

This Bruce Maddox guy took bits of Data from the area where that ship exploded with him on it, and used it as a base to make his own synths, which attacked Mars, were then defeated and banned from being made. However, Maddox continued his research on that other planet (forget name, the synth homeworld), made more synths until also making two that looked/acted/etc. like real people, were identical, and sent one to work at the Artifact (taken over Borg cube) and the other to a metropolis on some planet (forget why for both), each thinking they were real, and had fake families to hide the truth. Picard was working on his family farm when one of the two realistic synths (Dahj) came to him to help her, saying she was attacked in her apt, and somehow took them out with combat abilities she didn't know she had. Picard somehow guesses she was made based on Data's schematics, including when he notices that she looks like a woman from one of Data's old paintings called "Daughter", and she's then killed (caught in explosion) in an explosion when defending herself from more attackers. Picard then sets up a space ship team, a small one, with Elnor from Vashti and Dr. Agnes Jurati (who he talked to before at some Earth research station about human-looking synths) from Earth, and others, including a woman name Raffi from Picard's past who doesn't like him for something that happened before, but still helps, at first for her own personal reasons. They find Maddox (in poor physical condition) in a station bar, bring him aboard, as they know he'll help. He tells them the location of the other synth twin. Later, after everyone leaves, Agnes uses the life-support machinery around her to kill Maddox.

They go to the Artifact to find to recruit Soji. There they meet Hugh (a Borg character from an episode of TNG), who is working there to take all borg and turn them back to their original states, removing added machinery and all that, and has already removed a lot of his, as well, and talks like a normal human again. The saved ones are called "xBs's". He then says Soji is there, and where her quarters are. Soji is attempted to be killed by two evil Romulans there, and escapes, and leaves with Picard and the rest, also learning the fate of her twin. They're able to figure out how to get to their synth homeworld, where they meet other synthetics, gold-skinned like Data, one of which looking otherwise like Soji and Dahj. She decides that synths should take over, using a device that'll let out some creature through a portal to destroy non-synths, thus taking prisoner Picard and the others, except Soji, who initially helps, but is eventually radioed and convinced by Picard that it's wrong. The portal is closed, and the gold-faced Soji/Dahj agrees she and the rest were wrong. The Artifact crashes into a part of their planet, with SoN and the Elnor walking out of it. Picard seemingly dies on their ship from his illness he mentioned before, and is then shown talking to Data from inside some computer, asking Picard to terminate his life, as he wishes for it to end, for some reason. Picard wakes up in front of his crew-mates from some kind of stasis, disconnects the four devices hooked into a machine, showing inside the computer Data getting old and dying. Picard and his crew then take off to other adventures on their ship.

Also, Seven of Nine made some good appearances, and talking like a regular human now, probably thanks to the xBs workers at the Artifact. Apparently she's now part of this Fenris Rangers vigilante group, who first showed up when being beamed up on Picard's ship right before her's was destroyed. She helps getting Maddox from beings on a planet, disguising themselves as sellers who want to sell Seven of Nine for Maddox. It works, but SoN then points a gun at the leader-lady, in revenge of something I forget, but Picard convinces her revenge won't fix anything (or something like that). They leave, but SoN later comes back and shoots and obliterates her. SoN is later in the Artifact, alongside Elnor, but the evil female Romulan ejects the rest of the Borgs in stasis into space, and causing it to crash on the synth world. They later hooks back up with Picard and the ship crew, and joins their little band.

Questions:

1) Why did Agnes kill Bruce Maddox?

2) What's the past history between Picard and Raffi? Were they on the Stargazer together?

3) Do you think Agnes will still be turned in to DS12 after the last episode shown here?

4) Why didn't Riker recommand the Titan when coming to help Picard towards the end? Since he left it to live with Deanna on that one planet, maybe the Titan had been taken by someone else?

5) How was Picard saved from his illness at the end?

6) Why did Agnes eat the tracker device before she left with Picard and the rest?

7) Did they kill off Data because the actor (Brent Spiner) felt he was too old now to play the role, realistically, and because Data was suffering with his consciousness inside that device, and asked Picard to "free him" so he could die and be in peace?

8) Why did the two evil Romulans vent all the remaining Borg into space from the Artifact?

I must say it was great, although also a little sad.

You seemed to like it better than I did.

This Bruce Maddox guy took bits of Data from the area where that ship exploded with him on it, and used it as a base to make his own synths,

He took some 'positronic neurons' from the explosion site. How do you clone an android?

which attacked Mars, were then defeated and banned from being made.

Were the worker droids also from Maddox? It's a shame that Picard's great defense of Data in "Measure of a Man" amounted to nothing, since Starfleet now employs android slave labor.

However, Maddox continued his research on that other planet (forget name, the synth homeworld), made more synths until also making two that looked/acted/etc. like real people, were identical,

They said androids were created in pairs but there were 3 of her: Dahj, Soji, and Sutra on the synth homeworld.

Picard somehow guesses she was made based on Data's schematics, including when he notices that she looks like a woman from one of Data's old paintings called "Daughter",

Did Data know the future, since he painted a daughter who hadn't been created yet at the time of his death?

Also, Seven of Nine made some good appearances, and talking like a regular human now, probably thanks to the xBs workers at the Artifact. Apparently she's now part of this Fenris Rangers vigilante group, who first showed up when being beamed up on Picard's ship right before her's was destroyed.

I'm not sure why they turned Seven who was the Spock/Data intellectual type character of Voyager into another angsty bounty hunter in a show that was already full of that character type.

That lady had tortured and killed Icheb, the oldest of the freed Borg children that were adopted onto Voyager. Icheb was like a son to Seven. Or a little brother, at least.

Questions:

1) Why did Agnes kill Bruce Maddox?

Secret Romulan Commodore Oh had mind-melded with Agnes and shown her the future where synths destroy all biological life in the universe. Agnes either went mad like the rest who learned this, or she wasn't insane but helping Oh destroy Maddox's work, or she was being controlled by the mind-meld.

2) What's the past history between Picard and Raffi? Were they on the Stargazer together?

I think they met after Nemesis and became friends. When Picard resigned from Starfleet because they wouldn't help save the Romulans from extinction, Starfleet fired Raffi because she was Picard's friend, and she's mad at him for it?

3) Do you think Agnes will still be turned in to DS12 after the last episode shown here?

No one seemed to care she was murderer after that episode.

4) Why didn't Riker recommand the Titan when coming to help Picard towards the end? Since he left it to live with Deanna on that one planet, maybe the Titan had been taken by someone else?

I think you guessed right.

5) How was Picard saved from his illness at the end?

They put his mind in an android body that was exactly like his own body and will reach a natural death around the same time he would have without the disease. I'm not sure why they couldn't build a body for Data.

7) Did they kill off Data because the actor (Brent Spiner) felt he was too old now to play the role, realistically, and because Data was suffering with his consciousness inside that device, and asked Picard to "free him" so he could die and be in peace?

That's why they killed him off in Nemesis, I thought. I don't know why they brought him back just to kill him off again, other than the nostalgia bump of having him appear.

8) Why did the two evil Romulans vent all the remaining Borg into space from the Artifact?

I guess they thought the Borg would die in space, but they don't. They did it to punish Hugh or Seven or at least to slow them down, I think.

Here were my thoughts back when I watched it.
