I love the IDEA of Alexander Siddig as Ra's al Ghul. But Gotham is such a crappy show.

Like if they had cast Alexander Siddig as Ra's on Arrow I would have been pleased. He was who I had in mind when they were casting that role. Or if they had used his voice actor on one the DC cartoons or something as Ra's I would approve. I just hate Gotham. It seems like a campy Joel Schumacher Batman movie stretched out for 5 seasons.

He does have a good voice for Ra's they should use him in a cartoon of Batman.

I hated the show too. I only made it to the middle of the 2nd season.

But I started watching the other day because it's on netflix and I've been fascinated by it. I mean it is not great or even good but it is interesting.

I mean the villains are often the best part of Batman stories and here it is all villains and no Batman \:\)

And they figured out that Bruce needed to do more than sit around Wayne Manor so that element of the story improved after the 1st and a half seasons.

My favorite character is Penguin. The whole thing could just be about him.

Often it feel like 3 different shows. There is the Penguin gangster show, the Bruce show, and the Gordon cop show. Half the time the time the stories don't even crossover much.
