    To me Ferengi are supposed to be followers of Objectivism. Only #1 (themselves) matter.

    You're poor, not my problem you should have been smarter.

    But Quark was softened over the years so is it just him or Ferengi culture in general? I think it was just him.

I'd like to think that Quark isn't alone and that the average Ferengi would have a problem facilitating the murder of billions. That's well beyond the cost of doing business and isn't an acceptable risk.

Like I couldn't see Zek or Brunt or Ishka doing that. They would do horrible things but I would think genocide would be bad for business.
