Marvel has alot of such heroes, not sure where you are getting that.

Considering the leads have all been white guys for the last near 20 movies it seems a wild statement. Adding additional characters is hardly a bad thing.

Even with the upcoming Thor movie it seems with the multiverse situation that Jane Thor may just be an alternate realities Thor rather than the main universe Jane. That is speculation on my part though, but Mjolnir is gone.
