I thought the movie was just Snyder recuting the film, not shooting new footage.

Who wants that? Warner Bros had to have already lost quite a bit on the movie and they are putting more into it. To what end? For streaming or some 4k or Blu Ray sales? Seems likes a dumb investment.

I do agree with you. It was staggering how bad the movie was with a budget like that. I liked Flash in it, the actor escapes me, but that was about it. I also thought WW was fine because of her own decent movie but the rest was meh.

I do not understand with so much money going in why the movie was so dark and the pallet was so constant. Particularly at the end. Not saying it had to be bright but it was all CGI and looked terrible.

The whole thing just did not work at any level. I do not think they had to fully go the Marvel route of introducing the main cast first, but they did a bad job for the ones that were in the JLA movie first.

Did the Ultimate cut of Batman v Superman bring in a lot of extra dollars? Is that the template for this project?

Flash from the Justice League movie was a poor adaptation of Barry Allen from the comics but was an enjoyable part of the movie.

Worse than the color palette was the terrible CGI on Steppenwolf. I mean if you look at Thanos in Infinty War as the comparision, Steppenwolf looked far worse. Heck, he looked worse that most video games these days.

Someone, probably here on the boards, had the idea to do the reverse of what Marvel did with Avengers; not introduce all the characters in their own movies but introduce them all together. Since everyone already knows who Superman and Batman are, you just start with them and have them put the team together. Whichever characters are a hit you can spin off into their own movie. That's sort of what happened but Batman v Superman wasn't a necessary step. And none of the characters introduced in Justice Leauge, i.e. Cyborg, Flash, Aquaman, really had any story or character depth to them.
