Quote:Sequel is already being discussed last I read, also they may try to accelerate sequel development before the kid actors start growing up to avoid recasting issues or cgi de-aging
Quote:Definitely was channeling Tom Hank's BIG
Quote:As to Punky Brewster, eh, if you say so, I never saw that series. I did feel bad for Billy when he finds her only to realize that she basically cast him aside as she realized she was too young to be a mother at the time and didn't want the responsibility and felt others could do better. His father is out of state and a felon I believe they stated and she was living with someone that sounded like a jerk. Guess they felt that to be more tragic then his parents being dead.
It's too bad the guy sounded like a jerk, otherwise perhaps he could live with his Mom again. Or would Billy be better off with his current foster family?
Here's some info on Punky Brewster for those who don't know about her:
Quote:I dont think his adoptive parents know, they would flip out if they did. As it stands we now have all the kids with powers, and the parents do not know.....sounds like Marvel's Power Pack.
Sounds like a preferable setup to me.
Quote:After they tried the beer and spit it out they went back in and got standard junk food and soda.
Oh yeah, I remember now. Thanks.
Pretty sure Billy got the clue about his mom. She has never, for a single day in her life, wanted him. That's why he gave her the compass-- because she's more lost than he ever was. Really, she only exists to be a milestone for Billy's growth. She's no longer needed for any story. Billy has a better family than she could ever provide for him.
I love my mom and siblings, but OMG... why can't they be as awesome as this family? :\
