Definitely Godzilla movies. Monster Zero, King Kong Vs. Godzilla, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla Vs. the Thing. These would have me glued to the television. When I was a bit older, Star Wars, though I think I might have liked the toys better than the movie.

Abbott And Costello Meet Frankenstein was another favorite. When I watched it for my Creature Feature posts on the G/S/B Board a while back, all the scenes seemed like I had just watched them the week before. Other A&C favorites were Who Done It?, Hold That Ghost, Buck Privates and The Time Of Their Lives. These movies along with the Stooges and Bugs Bunny really helped me develop a love of 1940's culture.

Godzilla, that is a good one. Although I still admitt I enjoy watching those movies. The Toho run with the Smog Monster and the like got campy towards the end but still fine in a trippy way. The original is still a good flick on its own and as it went the stories got better.

Pretty good picks overall. Still boggles my mind that Lugosi only played Dracula in the original universal film and the Abott and Costello movie. Played similar vampires elsewhere, but only twice in the sort of cannon.

Here's a weird one: Santa Claus Conquers The Martians. I remember my dad telling my brothers and me about it being on, and we figured it'd be the greatest! However, I think my excitement for seeing such a movie lessened after I actually saw it.

As it should. I think my dad bought it and we watched it. Pretty bad movie right there. Although MST3K has made it infinitely more watchable. I find myself watching that version around Christmas time every year.
