It looks like Doc 13 might regenerate outside the TARDIS and that it will be the last scene of the episode and we may not see the new Doctor until 2023.

the article also states that regeneration occurred outside the TARDIS only twice, when Doc 4 became Doc 5 and when 7 became 8.......guess they should have done their research a bit more as Doc 3 becomes 4 outside the TARDIS, and Doc 8 becomes War Doctor outside the TARDIS also.

Since Chris Chibnall is unlikely to be able to resolve the mess he has made of the series in just the one final episode I am more than happy with the idea of Whittaker beginning to regenerate and a fade to black...

Whether it be Russell Davies or someone else who took over - no one deserves to inherit the unholy mess of Chris Chibnall's time with the show. \(coffee\)

Give it a clean break, and leave the 13th Doctor in its own bubble, bottled up and left on the shelf while the show moves on.
