Political disagreements seem to mostly stem from causes, remedies and outcomes. Two political parties might agree that crime is on the rise, but disagree on what the causes are, what we can/need to do about it, and what the results will be.
A “misinformationist” however, would knowingly and falsely say that crime is either on the rise or isn’t, whichever tactic benefits their agenda.
