Twitter isn’t exercising a damn thing other than arbitrarily censoring people based on politics and Nazism.
Well, that is not true. They are exercising their first amendment rights.
Along with the right to speak freely, a person has the right not to speak. That right carries over to publishing and platforming.
They have the right to decide who they do or do not publish.
You are allowed to exercise your rights arbitrarily or even stupidly... I would argue that it is very much both those things... yet they still have the right to do so.
Stupid as the decision was, they have the right to refuse someone based on their own political views.
Disagreeing is the right response. Wanting to smash the monopoly is the right response.
Claiming they are not exercising anything, when they are clearly doing so with the rights people are claiming to lose is just laughably foolish.
It is not their fault all their users, regardless of political persuasion, never stopped to wonder why the TOS was so vague. It is so you agree to let them kick you off when ever they want. All social media sites do this. Silicon valley is scummy.
