So, as you said in an above post, you are ok with a baker discriminating against a gay couple (refusing to bake/decorate a cake for their wedding) because the baker is exercising his/her first amendment right. But Colin Kapaernick can't exercise his first amendment right because it costs the owners of the NFL money? In your post above, you said you don't make exceptions. This looks like an exception and double standard.

Also, regarding Kaepernick costing the NFL money, have you quantified how much? I'm not sure you can say it cost the NFL a material amount of money. On a relative basis, it cost the players who knelt a lot more than it cost the NFL. Players who knelt saw their jersey sales hit, they got blacklisted by the NFL because they couldn't manage the social media backlash. If anything, in your worldview, isn't this an example of conservatives "cancelling, or censoring" someone else for exercising their freedoms?

In any case, it's tough to say what caused a ratings slump, never mind attribute it to just one factor. Here is an article on the matter (I am not a media expert).

This is the problem with democrats. They see hypocrisy where there’s none.

The baker owns the business, is the seller, and doesn’t want to sell because of clear religious reasons. The Bible condemns homosexuality.

That’s different from a low quality employee disrupting his place of employment on company time, after being repeatedly told to stop.

The difference is night and day.

And since you democrats are so pro-Islam, why not ask a Muslim bakery to make a Muslim wedding cake for a gay couple? You wouldn’t dare because either a) you think that’s different, for some crazy reason or b) you’re the biggest chickens.
