I don't know who S.A. Miller is from the Washington Times, in what appears to be an unsourced blog entry. You better believe that if dirt could be dug up on AOC it would be front-page news on CNN, Fox, etc.
Not going to dump on you too badly... but please check your sources. The Institute for Free Speech are basically Sith lords. I didn't even click the link when I saw the web address.
Quote:How do you judge she is more influential?
AOC can shift the policy debate towards the progressive side on a nation-wide scale and she's a mere freshman. Thus, she hits far above her weight class. Dems are tripping over themselves to be on AOC's radar. The same cannot be said for Pelosi, who is actually weaker and less effective than her extremely high position would indicate. She can't leverage bills against the Senate when she has all the leverage. She can't hold Trump or his administration accountable. She hasn't pushed the $15/minimum wage she promised.
What is Pelosi's big accomplishment that would signify that she's either a competent politician or is influential? That she passed a Republican healthcare bill with zero Republican votes, and which cost the Dems 1000 seats during the Obama era?
does not mean it is wrong all of the time, but is a super conservative newspaper.
Not even following the links they were known for pushing conspiracies about Obama, doubting the dangers of second hand smoke, the ozone hole and global warming among other things.
Generally, not a great source for much of anything.
In some ways it can be as bad as quoting Sean Hannity as a source and expect folks to take it seriously.
