It was pointed out they were beaten by a 15yr old boys team from Dallas. That's the difference in talent levels.

I am not even sure that matters (but will go into it in a moment). Skill, as referred to initially, is more about training than raw physical talent. Even if somebody does not have raw physical ability, they can be quite talented. So, it was a poor word choice to me. It makes them sound like they are on the side of the road picking up cans because they have no other skills.


I am not sure that is the entire story for the game you are bringing up.

Even my cursory google glance into it shows happy pictures of the US women's team and these kids. And the articles refer to a scrimmage. It does not seem like the two went out looking to crush the other side and they lost. The boys look pretty worked up but the women just look like they were enjoying themselves.

I do see plenty examples of people using the thing in a sexist manner though. Everything from women only belonging in kitchens, shouldn't play sports and so on. So, it is very one sided for certain agendas.
