Reply Subj: I got a headache just reading these post. There has to be some way to get things moving. What about the queen, can she do anything? Doesn't she have any power left? Or is she just all ceremonial at this point?

If the Queen got involved, there would be constituional chaos.
And by getting involved, it could be as little as 'I wish we could stay in the EU...'
Parliament would lose thier minds and it would well be the beginning of the end of the Monarchy.
When I enlisted, I swore an oath of alligence to the Queen. However, it is ceremonial. She is a reigning monarch, NOT a ruling monarch.
She has a right to be consulted (read told first). As a ceremonial duty, she suspends parliament and appoints the Prime Minister, based on the results of the electorate and through parliamantry custom.
She may not be prosecuted for any crime as the law is carried out in her name. She also gives Royal Assent to any bills before they come into law.
Parliament is the Executive branch. If the Queen, who is a non elected individual were to try and take a political action, it wouldn't be long at all until the entire monarch was abolished. With one word she would instantly put herself at odds with half of her citizens and a good proportion of the other side would find it shocking that a non elected individual would try and seize power of the process.
It really would be suicide.
