Look to the poets. If you want to know what is going on in any era and what is to come they are your best source. Historians get censored and put on the payroll, but no one bothers with the poets.

So, with this doofus in the White House, who just might win again given the lack of a credible opponent, I dipped into some gems that I think sum up the Democrat's response and why there is a disconnect.

What they want their message to be:

"It's coming to America first. The cradle of the best of the worst. It's here we've got the range and the machinery for change and it's here we've got the spiritual thirst. It's here the family's broken and it's here the lonely say that the heart has got to open in a fundamental way. Democracy is coming. To the USA." -L. Cohen

What their message is:

"I'm your charity case so buy me something to eat. I'll pay you at another time." - G 'n' R

Please, let there be an alternative to another election where I have to walk into the booth holding my nose because both candidates stink so much.

I feel ya...I am dying for a 1/2-a## decent Democrat to vote for. But all I am told is I am bad...and that I don't count. Why would I vote for someone like that instead of someone who will ruin is all together equally? \:\)
