Thing is..."some" people might enjoy those things. It doesn't have to be you. If "some" people enjoy it...then it does make people on average happier.

Well, I assume you're postulating scenarios that you think would make you happy, but I find them dubious. Since you haven't actually experienced these things, I'm not sure that they would indeed make you as happy as you assume. As per the Rolling Stones song, my point is simply that getting what you want isn't the same as getting what you need. There's also the adage, be careful what you wish for. It seems like common sense that getting what you want makes you happy, but it comes with unforeseen consequences:

Pointedly, one element of wealth is that you can easily get spoiled children who don't want to work for anything. As Trent pointed out, relationships makes the most difference and wealth doesn't have anything to do with how well you relate to others and can actually makes relationships worse.

Also at a certain point(multi-millions)...wealth means you don't have to work for anyone else...and are beholden to almost no one and can work or not as you please for something you truly enjoy.

Wealth can be a boon or it can be a trap. Working for or being beholden to others is not necessarily a bad thing and at least you're striving for something. Wealth allows freedom from structure, but structure is what gives your life meaning. You can choose not to work and pretty soon you find yourself a glutton with no purpose. Or as I pointed out before, your thirst for ever more wealth just means you're never satisfied and thus not very happy.
