This can't be good if he decides to run.

Maybe this stuff is why he hasn't announced yet.

That said...there is one HUGE problem with all these accusations that I have seen so far. Not one of these women ever said they told him STOP or NO or explained to him at the time that they thought it was inappropriate. This has also been the case for a few politicians that have been accused in the last few years of such behavior.

I don't subscribe to the "must say stop" rule.

So I am curious what people think. What is the nature of the problem?

    Quote:
1)Men need to stop behaving with such disregard for women?

I would phrase it more simply and more bluntly. DO NOT TOUCH a woman you are not dating. Period. The end. If a man touches a woman he is not dating, he should take whatever consequences come his stupid way. It isn't hard to refrain from touching. It's the easiest thing in the world. Just keep your hands to yourself. Done. Problems avoided.

2)Have some of the women's empowerment movements gone too far?

Mostly no. However, some of these people say all accusations must be believed without question. That's going too far.

    Quote:
3)Are we too PC or sensitive these days? or Are we not enough PC and sensitive yet across the population?

On this issue, I don't think we're too PC or sensitive. Men should keep their stupid hands to themselves. It's not complicated. It doesn't cost anything.

4)Is Biden just an odd creepy man out of touch and just one data point or a victim of false accusations the press or something else?

We have no way of knowing if the accusations are true. If they're true, then he's a creep. Hands to yourself, Mr. Biden.

    Quote:
5)Is the news just blowing the issues out of control and this is "all about nothing"?

I've lost all faith in the American news media, so maybe.

    Quote:
6)Are groups using this and manipulating it for their political power or agendas?

Oh of course. For any incident X, some group is exploiting X for political or economic gain.

    Quote:
7)Or something else I am just missing?

Biden is a lousy candidate regardless of any of this. He's notorious for saying stupid things into microphones. No way in heck will he get through a presidential campaign without making a fool of himself. I don't know why he's even being considered. On camera he's a buffoon.

    Quote:

On a personal note I hope he runs even if he doesn't get chosen by the DNC. Mainly because I feel he is a fairly strong choice faults and all.

I suspect most Republican strategists are very hopeful Biden will run.
