I have to question the test, as with all personality tests. I think it's hard to create a profile based on a handful of questions many of which don't have clear answers so the slider sits in the middle. It's says I'm intellectual which I suppose I am, and introverted which I used to be but I'm shedding that trait more and more (by circumstance). It says I question systems of rules which I do. I question anything and everything, I don't care how long it's been around or how many people believe it. However, I don't discard rules out of hand. Until and unless I could research and find a better way of doing things I'll do things they way they've always been done. I'm very much a traditionalist too. It says I have no use for social conventions such as politeness and chivalry as it is "fake niceness." This could not be further from the truth. I hold common courtesy and respect for others above almost all other things. It says I need freedom in my work and can't be constrained but actually I find I am much more productive when given limitations that I can work with (or around). Give me a blank sheet of paper and tell me I can do anything I want and I probably won't be able to come up with anything. It also says I wouldn't be able to stomach a relationship with someone who isn't the same as me. My wife is really the opposite of my type. I am logical and not very emotional and she is a very emotional person. In the words of Rocky Balboa, we fill each other's gaps. ![]() I'd say it got me about half right and half wrong. As tends to be the case with most online tests. What you have read so far is just an introduction into the complex concept that is the INTJ personality type. You may have muttered to yourself, "wow, this is so accurate it's a little creepy" or "finally, someone understands me!" Or, not at all. ![]() | |||||||
