I thought it was pretty cool, an awesome story with some tragic deaths too. Never knew Castle Greyskull was just a shell/illusion or whatever over what it was inside, a shiny castle with this magic orb that supplies all the magic in Eternia (IIRC), that Skeletor wants. He-Man/Prince Adam sacrifices himself to prevent the explosion of the orb caused by Skeletor, taking him with him in death. Magic is gone, and everyone now knows Adam was He-Man, which makes different good guys sad or angry. Later Adam gets resurrected, only to get brutally-stabbed by a resurrected Skeletor, who take possession of his sword to become super-powerful himself! Looking forward to part 2 of this saga. Still no release date given yet.

Thoughts from others who saw all five parts?

I enjoyed it. In the original series there were times when the sword was stolen or missing and Adam had to step up his game until he could get his hands on the sword and speak the magic words. Other times it was the aid of his allies that helped carry the day more then his muscle.

As to Adam reviving from the dead in this new series, well there was no new champion to take his place. He made the heroic move of risking permanent banishment from heaven by returning. As to him being stabbed, I doubt he is dead but likely wounded and weakened or comatose.

Teela's anger...well she wasn't trusted with the big secret nor has she yet learned she is the daughter of the sorceress and heir to Greyskull. Also Adam was one of her best friends and that he never told her hurt, but also deep down there always was a sense of possible romance in the future with her and Adam or her and He-man.

His mother doing the math made sense, it is hard at times to fool one's parent.

Randor's fury at Man At Arms...well he is the KING and he was lied to or perhaps not lied to more like not informed about Adam being He-man and then to learn that he was He-Man and now is dead.....well yeah, he would be mad as hell.

In the original series and 2003 revamp series, Randor never asked Man At Arms if he knew who He-Man was, Randor only knew that Man At Arms could contact him. Had Randor directly asked, then Man At Arms would be forced to either tell the truth or lie to his king.
