What this article fails to mention is that there was an implication in the classic series, This Side of Paradise, that Spock does have a full name but that it couldn't be pronounced.

Not sure I see the relevance of revealing Spock's full vulcan name after all these years and with Nimoy gone other then to generate some minor bit of extra fan curiosity.
