Well Picard gives his ancestor a pep talk to help with her crisis of confidence. So far it seems that her historical path is on the correct course....

Dr Adam Soong meets Picard and each warn the other to back off and he warns Soong to avoid Q.

Soong of course cannot. Also his "daughter" researches him and it seems that she is the latest attempt to create a genetic super being and that all the others have perished.

We also get confirmation that Soong is a pariah in the scientific community. That seems to happen a lot with the Soongs, doesn't it. I am still convinced that his work is the ground work for the eugenics wars and Khan, if the timeline is corrected.

Also the Borg Queen is taking over......
