Subj: Ethically, what would the STNG and DS9 crew have done in the 'Tuvik' situation? Posted: Mon Oct 11, 2021 at 04:06:45 pm EDT (Viewed 144 times) | |||
When Neelix and Tuvok were joined into one entity, Janeway ordered the gestalt being seperated against his whishes. Despite a direct appeal, Chakotay and Paris refused to go against the Captian. Only the Doctor refused, and that was a refusal to do the operation not to put in a grievance or attempt to stop her. If it was TNG, I could see Ryker and La Forge being non comittal, Worf being pro and Crusher, Troi and Data anti. Picard would never have made that choice in my opinion. DS9, I could imagine Dax be very anti. As would Bashir. Kira and O'Brian being pro. I think Sisko would make that choice. I'd be interested in your thoughts?
