Difference Between Spoilers and Extreme Spoilers

Just a few rules to live by when posting spoilers on the Supernatural Message Board:

A SPOILER is a post that contains information about what happened in the most recent episode of Supernatural.  This is because not everybody gets to watch Supernatural on Thursday night.  This SPOILER rule is to protect them.

The episode is officially considered in SPOILER mode from the day its released to 1 week later or when the next episode in the series is released whichever comes first. After that is done, you can discuss the issue or stuff that happened there without using "SPOILER."

An EXTREME SPOILER is any information about an episode that has not been released. Information taken from article, interviews and spoiler-sites, etc about upcoming episodes are considered EXTREME SPOILERS. The only exception are the previews found on the main page of this Supernatural Message Board.

Also, when making a subject heading, do NOT include the spoiler in the title! A post titled "The boys' Dad -- EXTREME SPOILERS" would get deleted immediately. He's currently dead on the show, so a title like that would announce something involving him was coming up. Merely say something like "Upcoming characters -- EXTREME SPOILERS" so people who want to be spoiled can check it out, and those who don't can avoid it.

And yes, casting information is considered EXTREME SPOILER.

Any posts that include EXTREME SPOILERS but don't have the warning, or any posts with SPOILERS in the subject line will be deleted. Repeat offenders will be temporarily banned and eventually permanently banned.

So, basically...

Before the episode airs = EXTREME SPOILER.
After the episode airs = SPOILER.
