  • When posting news items, credit the source.

  • Fanfics are OK (mark 'em [FIC]), but keep 'em PG-13 and do not request any creators/actors that may post or lurk to read 'em.

  • Wipe the drool off your chin after staring at the board's great new look.

  • Each minor offense earns a strike and three strikes equals a ban, so be courteous to your fellow poster and have fun!

  • When submitting banners, try to keep them under 100k.

  • Spoiler Policy -- Spoilers vs. Extreme Spoilers

  • A SPOILER post is a post that contains information about what happened on the most recent Stargate episode. This is because not everybody gets to see Stagate on Fridays due to various reasons. Maybe their signal for Sci-Fi wasn't coming in right, or they tivo'ed it, or were busy w/ other things during the first showing and are catching the reshowing instead. And so on and on. This SPOILER rule is to protect them.

  • The episode is officially considered in SPOILER mode from the first minute it airs and lasts for a week. Once the week is done, you can discuss the episode or stuff that happened there without using the "SPOILERS" tag.

  • Promos for next week's show are covered under the above rule.

  • An EXTREME SPOILER is any information about a show that hasn't aired yet. The only exception are promos, and that's because, technically, they've already aired. If you know what's going to happen with a certain assumed-dead Stargate villain a few episodes down the road, you must mark the post as "EXTREME SPOILERS". Even if the episode is going to air in 5 minutes, you must include "EXTREME SPOILERS".

  • Also, when making a subject heading, do NOT include the spoiler in the title! A post titled "Ford -- EXTREME SPOILERS" would get deleted immediately. Ford isn't on the show right now. Therefore, the mere fact that you're telling us there's an extreme spoiler about him automatically tells us that he *will* be on the show. That's an extreme spoiler in itself. Merely say something like "Atlantis: Episode 5x17 -- EXTREME SPOILERS" so people who want to be spoiled can check it out, and those who don't can avoid it.

  • And yes, casting information is considered EXTREME SPOILER.

  • Any posts that include EXTREME SPOILERS but doesn't have the warning will be deleted.

  • Any posts that include SPOILERS or EXTREME SPOILERS in the subject lines will be deleted.

  • So, basically ... Before the show airs = EXTREME SPOILER. After the show airs = SPOILER.
